I just got this email forward from my friend Don, and it shows the musician Tony Meléndez playing guitar and singing the famous Beatles song Let It Be. Tony is a Nicaraguan American guitar player, composer and singer and songwriter who was born without arms. Check out this video and see what is called ‘human spirit’. Also check out this video where Tony speaks about his journey. An amazing and motivating story.

Yeah, I wonder how he manages to strum the strings with his legs! It is really amazing and puts me to shame.

it is when you see such people that you know you are blessed. Tony – you the man…as they say in the latino community.
and in comparison look at our ‘blessed’ youth in your blog that followed. what a pity. they do not realize that religion was created for man by man and has from historical times been used to manipulate – not just for the purposes it was originally meant for -

So true. And it is when I see people like him that I put my head down in shame because of the lack of commitment I have for practicing music even though I believe myself that I love music.
About your second comment – so true. Religion could have been used as a very good tool to guide people spiritually but it has been used for all the wrong reasons.
